For Kingpin Melbourne at Collins Arcade, Yellow Design made the custom DJ box shown within the completed venue. The piece gives performers a practical working position while its dark, angular form and illuminated KINGPIN face sit naturally within the venue’s industrial-luxe entertainment setting.

For Kingpin Melbourne at Collins Arcade, Yellow Design made the custom DJ box shown within the completed venue. The piece gives performers a practical working position while its dark, angular form and illuminated KINGPIN face sit naturally within the venue’s industrial-luxe entertainment setting.
This project is a useful example of how Yellow Design can contribute one highly specific custom element within a much larger venue. The DJ box needed to read clearly in a visually energetic room, provide a robust surface for equipment and become part of the guest experience without competing with the surrounding attractions.
